Harvest Song by Sandra Quandelacy

Eight harvest maidens each hand carved by Sandra into a single lion’s paw shell wear tablitas and sing for a bountiful harvest.

The ears of corn are carved from turquoise, red and purple spiny oyster, Picasso marble and serpentine. 

They rest above a pueblo setting Sandra has carefully incised into a stable base of pipestone. 

She has also inlaid a sunface made of turquoise, lapis, and coral below the corn filled olla carved from pink mussel shell. 

This intricately detailed piece of art stands 5 1/2” tall and 5” wide.
